Mr. Arvind Prakash Verma

Mr Arvind Prakash Verma holds an MBA degree from MONIRBA, University of Allahabad with specilisation in Marketing and is a ‘Certified Petroleum Manager’ from IndianOil Institute of Petroleum Management, Gurugram, India. He has completed multiple executive programs from IIM Kolkata, IIM Indore, IIM Kozhikod.

Prior to joining IOML on 27th February, 2023, he was heading the Institutional Business vertical at Rajkot Divisional Office, one of the largest divisional offices in India by geography, covering complete coastal region of Gujarat. As Head of Institutional Business one of his core assignments was to develop the bunker business of IOCL in Gulf of Kutch having important ports like Kandla and Mundra.

He joined IOCL (parent company of IOML) in year 2005 and worked for 2 years with marketing operations group at Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh India and afterwards has handled highly competitive and challenging markets of Institutional Business for 16 years in different states of India including Uttar Pradesh, Telangana and Gujarat.

He has been recognized for his professional excellence by his parent company and has won laurel for achieving highest sales of bunker fuel and also for Bitumen sales during his carrier in different geographies in India. He is an apt learner and has been actively participating in SWADHYAY, one of the most ambitious and in-house e-learning platforms created by IOCL, having exposed himself to the functioning of different verticals of petroleum sector.

He has to his credit the publication of two articles in IOCL’s inhouse HO Broadcast on the topic of “Manager2Coach”, an initiative of IOCL HO L&D. His area of interest includes ‘Graphology’, the science of writing and spiritual practices.

His focus area has remained maintaining long term relationship with customers and use of technological innovations mixed with rich experience of oil & gas field to enhance value of offerings made to esteemed customers and other stake holders.
