Mr Debabrata Das
Vice President (Operations)
Mr. Debabrata Das has joined IndianOil Mauritius Limited on 22nd April 2022 as Vice President Operations. He is responsible for driving the Supply Chain strategy, Operations Management, HS&E, Quality Control, Projects management.
He has joined IOCL (Parent company of IOML) in 2005. Before joining IOML, from 2019, he was posted at the Head Office of IOCL. During this tenure he was involved in some of the strategic initiatives like introduction of niche products in the market, modernization of infrastructure, asset management, digitization & automation, Training & Development.
He has played an important role in introduction of premium products like XP100, XP95, XTRA Green HSD. He has also actively involved in Swadhyaya, the most ambitious and innovative in-house e-learning platform in Asia pacific Region. During 2nd wave of COVID in India, he was part of the core team established by Govt of India for managing the Liquid Medical Oxygen in India and played a critical role in augmentation of the LMO Logistic in the country.
He has done MBA from one of India’s top business schools-India Institute of Management, Kozhikode and Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation and Control. He has completed multiple executive and leadership development programs from various prestigious Indian and International institutes like Indian Institute of Managements (Ahmedabad, Bangalore & Indore), XLRI-Jamshedpur and MDI.
A sport enthusiast, during his leisure time he likes to go for biking, trekking, play golf, cycling and swimming. He has done National Himalayan Trekking program in 2015 and climbed the highest mountain in Maharashtra in 2021.
