Mr. Prabhat Kumar
Vice President (Finance)
Mr. Prabhat Kumar joined IndianOil (Mauritius) Limited as Vice President (Finance) in April 2025.
Bringing over 17 years of rich experience in finance and accounting, Mr. Kumar adds considerable strategic expertise and leadership to the IOML team. A seasoned finance professional, he has consistently delivered results in fast-paced and complex business environments.
Before joining IndianOil in 2007, Mr. Kumar began his career at Powergrid Corporation Ltd, India’s premier power transmission company. Over the past two decades, he has worked across various regions in India and has been involved in IndianOil’s upstream finance operations internationally, including in the USA, Canada, Russia, Singapore, Oman, Abu Dhabi, Gabon, Nigeria, Yemen and Libya. He has also managed joint upstream operations across India.
Mr. Kumar has played a crucial role in the acquisition of both domestic and international upstream assets. Known as a dynamic change agent, he has taken on increasing organizational responsibilities and successfully led numerous strategic initiatives.
In his current role as Chief Financial Officer, he plays a key part in shaping the company’s strategic direction and overall success. He also serves on the Board of Mer-Rouge Oil Storage Terminal and leads Human Resources at IOML, where he supports the company’s growth by fostering human and social capital.
Mr. Kumar holds an MBA in Finance and is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He earned his Honors Degree in Commerce from Delhi University. Outside of work, he is passionate about music and enjoys long drives.
Mr Deepak Jain is qualified Chartered Accountant as well as Cost Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountant and The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants Of India, respectively. He has joined the parent company in 1999 and has wide experience in different spheres of Accounting and Finance.
